Enormous Baklava Apr 04, 2012
Basically a walk-up window serving up basic Greek "street food" type fare. Gyros, salad, falafel, hummus, etc. There's picnic tables with umbrellas where you can munch on your goodies when the weather is nice.
The lamb gyro is you pretty basic, but very tasty, traditional gyro composition (pita, shaved meaty bits, tomatoes, cucumbers, feta and tzaziki). I've only eaten here once, but it's truly worth mentioning because of the baklava.
I thought the baklava was pretty pricey, at around $4, but decided "what the heck, let me splurge this time." I was expecting the typical postage-stamp sized bit of baklava most Mediterranean restaurants over-charge you for. Instead I was pleasantly surprised to find an enormous hunk of baklava in my to-go container. It was fresh and moist, and I had baklava for days. Definitely a win.
