Very quaint and peaceful area. Niagara-on-the-Lake has a small downtown area that is quite pleasant to look at and walk through. You may park on the street in front of any of the stores or restaurants. The ice cream parlors are fantastic, you really have to try one.

Niagara-on-the-Lake is also home to the Shaw Festival. It produces some of the greatest plays ever written and produced many Canadian actors that now call Holywood home. But they also return here as the Shaw stage has always been one of the best stages to perform in for true thespians.

Some of the world's word winning wines are produced here including the best Ice Wines in the world. Be sure to visit some of the many wineries and attend wine tasting.

You are not by the falls at Lake Erie, you are actually on Lake Ontario. If you stand by the Lake looking out at all it's glory you can catch a glimpse of Toronto's CN Tower on a clear day.
