Stunning Waterfalls Jun 10, 2011
If you follow these steps you will be well rewarded with waterfall goodness. None of this trickle down a rock with a 30cm gap excuse of a waterfall, then twiddle you thumbs and with nothing to do but debate why if fact you ventured this way. Nah uh. Ba Ho'

- Hire a motorbike from Nha Trang (70,000 per day ish)

- Buy a map, it helps when playing charades with the locals when you have overshot the turnoff 30km

- Head north along the main road hugging the beach for about 23km (asking locals for directions, using the map you bought, just to make sure your on the right track.

- Hang a left where the small sign says Ba Ho', you will travel over a little bridge and railway tracks.

- Follow that dirt road with a left at the next desolate T intersection and your laughing

Walk along the massive boulders, they are a sight in themselves until you reach the falls. There are ledges that offer daredevils a chance to test if it hurts to jump off the highest point into the clean, cool water. It does. It was a lot of fun. Bring bathers, good investment, as you 'will' jump, then will think *thanks guy from the internet for i am so glad im in my bathers and not my Armani suit i was going to wear*

You can also swim to the falls and climb in and underneath the fall and recieve a free water massage. Although it is similar to chinese water torture on crack, it's good.

It has been one of the highlights of my trip, enjoy.

Resurrect your romance at Nha Trang... Dec 29, 2008
Nha Trang Oh Nha Trang! How I love you so! This place was probably the best place I have been ever since Noosa beach in Australia. The place offers a getaway fits for romance. If I ever have the chance to redo my trip to Vietnam...I would just take the first train to Nha Trang and stay there for days!

What more can you ask from a vacation area - Blue sea, white sandy beaches, cheap but decent hotels, amazing food (vegetarian in my case), and secluded area for those who want some privacy but still needs the luxury of a beautiful beach. I found it all in Nha Trang.

I didn't know till the end of my trip that Nha Trang was the place where Miss Universe 2008 was crowned...and it was obvious why. The place is just amazing.

They also have a cable car service that could transport you across the channel to another resort island called Vinpearl. There you'll be able to enjoy exhilirating and adrenalin rush activities at the fun park.

If you are into luxurious hotels, go to Diamond Bay and indulge yourself there. The rooms are kinda pricey..but I am sure the service is heavenly.

When I was in Nha Trang, I met a guy from Australia and we shared a room together just to cut cost (nothing happened honest..) so we spent the whole day walking around the small Nha Trang town. We found a secluded beach where we thought looks like somewhere you could only find in a hollywood movies where the rich mafia king sunbathed with his supermodel girlfriend...we had a good laugh there cos there happened to be a Russian couple there and we imagined that they had their bodyguards around in hiding and anytime soon some black-claded men would attack the place with their AK-47s. Some imagination we had.

Too bad I only stayed there for a night. I will be back to stay longer.
