I love the NH hotel chain. They introduced the Lazy Sunday concept which is ideal for city trips. Breakfast on Sunday is till 12:00 and you can check out till 17:00. This hotel features this same arrangement.

Besides that the hotel has very luxurious rooms, is located on walking distance from the centre of the city and some nice restaurants are located in the area. The rooms are clean, big and very well taken care of. The personnel is friendly and helpful and the breakfast is what you can expect from the NH hotel chain.

I consider the hotel to be an ideal base for a city trip to Gent.
