The Most Enchanting Accomodations I have experienced Jul 11, 2010
The Most Enchanting accommodations you could ever expect. Star Wars in appearance. Pure heaven. Fabulous food and Service. The only downside I experienced was talking to travelers there who had approval and guides on true safari to stalk and kill for trophys. Heartbreaking!! Other than that it was breathtaking........Unqualified ....the most awe inspiring ....frigging fabulous place I have ever none.

Incredible animal sightings Jun 12, 2010
Note, this review is not of the lodge, it's of the actual park. Not sure how to change that.....

The Ngorongoro Crater is truly a natural wonder of the world. The topography and setting alone make it worthy of a look, but it's the wildlife found inside the crater that is truly jaw-dropping. Forming its own minature ecosystem, the crater is home to the Big 5 as well as a myriad of other animals. And on any given day, you can seen them all, up close and personal.

Not five minutes after reaching the crater floor I was within 20 yards of half a dozen lions. I later saw cheetahs, black rhino, zebra, elephants, and nearly every other animal you can hope to see. Truly a magical place.

We went to Ngorongoro Crater in 1999. It was my first safari in Africa. Will never forget it. This fantastic experience has been the reason for my many trips to Africa in the past 10 years.
