Newks Express Cafe Longview Reviews
Fresh fast food Mar 02, 2010
So another restaurant opens in these troubled times. Well, if it plans to succeed, it must have everything going for it. Newks is a new express casual dining experience in a refreshing and stylish atmosphere with an emphasis on freshness and flavor. The new restaurant is rumored to have been brought to E Texas by the people who owned another local sandwich shop. Newks has restaurants in Texas, Mississippi, Tennessee, Alabama, Florida, N Carolina and Louisiana. They have an extensive fresh menu including fresh tossed salads made right in front of you, oven baked sandwiches that include a roasted shrimp po boy, California style pizzas, made-from-scratch soups that change on a daily basis and homemade cakes. All of this from their open kitchen set nearly in the center of the restaurant. They have a large menu board on the wall which makes it easier to choose the sandwich, salad or soup of your choice. They offer a variety of combos at a pretty reasonable price. I guess you can’t put a price tag on healthy fresh dinning.
They also offer a nice condiment bar that includes roasted garlic, fresh pickles, capers and a variety of sauces and oils. The individually packaged breadsticks make for a good little take home. Free refill of a variety of soft drinks as well as sweet, un-sweet or tea sweetened with splenda. Great variety!
The place was very clean including the restrooms. I like that they have a sink for washing hands outside of the restroom. They were well decorated and clean. The service was friendly, quick and efficient.
You enter the restaurant, place your order and they then bring your order to you. They also have a drive up, quick and grab section as well.
Go in and enjoy this place for yourself, and see the many good reasons why you will continue to come back to Newk's Express Café!
