Spent a month in Newcastle University to attend the summer school.
The University is located at the heart of the NEwcastle City where all major shopping centres and grocery stores were easily accesible from the campus itself.
Almost all shops there are closed by 6 pm but then again, that signal the start of nightlife in newcastle with plenty of Bars, Pubs and clubs located within miles from the campus itself.

I went to New Castle for a day by boat. It was really fun, i never travelled by boat before so i was kinda excited, because i had no idea what to expect :p. eventually it was lots of fun, i had the feeling i was drunk the whole time when being on the boat lol :) After arriving in New Castle i made a nice walk through this city, afcourse making some nice pics. A thing that is really noticable in this city is the really new and very old architecture which is found beside each other through the city

Ihave a caravan in Cockermouth in the English Lake District.
I try to spend as much time as I can there.
Some great walking & a gorgeous place for me to do some song writing & chill.
Its near the coast so I have the beauty of both the mountains & the sea!!

After a great trip -our satnav (MIO) brought us through a valley, so beautiful- we enter the pre boarding platform for the boat to Norway.
We see her lying in the dock, but we have to wait for a while to enter. It is a fair day, so witing is no problem. We can look back on a nice week in Scotland.

Had a 24hr layover in Newcastle. Not the most interesting city I've ever been. But they do have some nice bridges though.
