Newbury Vacation Guide
Newbury is a nice typical town, located in the middle of Southern England. The town is famous for its racecourse, and also for its 17th century castle (Highclere Castle).
It is very beautiful for walks along the canal, or deeper in the countryside. The town center can be quite animated at night (and even more after an event at the racecourse) at the Market Place with pubs and discos. The main street is surrended by shops, there is a little shopping centre (Kennet Shopping) and, a further from the town center you can find some fast food, bigger shops for groceries and Retail Shopping.
It is obviously not the first destination to go in the UK, but the geographical situation is interesting to visit cities all around the area, such as Bristol, Bath, Oxford or London for instance!
