Where is Leichtling? Lets start with where Leichtling ISN'T. Leichtling ISN'T in bed (though she should be because she only has about 4 hours to sleep). Ahg! How does this happen? I always start off a trip with the best intentions. Pack early, be organized and enjoy the night before a big trip. Per…

Today I flew from Washington DC to New York City. Last time my dad and I took a bus down to DC but this time I had to get there in time for a flight and I think it was easier this way. I took American Airlines which I will abuse later in a review!
Then I had a flight from New York to Tokyo again,…

We woke up early and found the trailhead for Algonquin Mountain. I believe it was the Macintyre trail that leads to the summit. The trail was only moderately strenuous and the views from the top are well worth the hike. We stopped and had lunch at the top. This is when I fou…

We got to New York, and the weather was beautiful! It was quite hot - around 79 degrees - so we were all sweating like pigs. We got to our hotel, the Days Hotel Broadway, which was very mediocre, but it did the job fine. We had 3 rooms - one for my parents, one for Sarah and Carley, and one for…

This was our first trip to New York City. We took a bus with a bunch of other people which dropped us all off in Manhattan. We had untill 9:00 pm to do what ever we wanted, because at 9:00 pm, the bus was leaving to come back home to Annapolis, Maryland. We took a brief walk to Central Park, walked…

Mark took me to New York for Valentine's Day and also as part of my birthday present for March! We had an amazing time - Mark's been to NYC so many times, he had an Aunt and Uncle who lived nearby and he'd go twice a year when he was younger, but this was my first time.
We had dinner at the Rainbo…

Why has taken me so long to return to the greatest city in the world? It is like 10 different countries rolled into one. Fabulous characters, great food, wonderful entertainment and a surprise around every corner.
Saw 5 Broadway shows, each one very different, CEILA, story of Ceila Cruz the queen of Salsa, MAMA MIA, music by Abba, great cast, "A BRONX TALE" Chazz Palmintteri giving a wonderful performance in the story of his early life, and SPAMALOT, sensational, finally August Osage County
