Had to go to the US for a three day customer workshop. My boss asked me to stay the weekend, because the flight would be cheaper that way. Who am I to refuse?

Why has taken me so long to return to the greatest city in the world? It is like 10 different countries rolled into one. Fabulous characters, great food, wonderful entertainment and a surprise around every corner. Saw 5 Broadway shows, each one very different, CEILA, story of Ceila Cruz the queen of Salsa, MAMA MIA, music by Abba, great cast, "A BRONX TALE" Chazz Palmintteri giving a wonderful performance in the story of his early life, and SPAMALOT, sensational, finally August Osage County

Once I got back from the States, I had to do a lot of catching up with people.  A group of us had a bit of a Uni reunion one weekend and thought 'let's go to NYC' in the new year.  Great!  We organised it pretty quickly and went at the end of January.  The last time I was here, it was hot, this time it wasn't!  I was looking forward to seeing the city on a weekend as well, as last time the trip took us to Boston for the Friday and Saturady nights. Living in New York...I have to say I will never forget this chapter of my life. Me, a girl from a small Polish town had suddenly found herself in the middle of a huge city...totally lost, but only in the begining. What I loved and still love about New York is that life goes on there 24/7. Amazing:). And the people...such diversity of nationalities, cultures, religions...I think that is where my curiosity about the world has developed. It was always inside me but never as strong.  

Met up with Natasha (nycgirl76), Jeff (jefrois) and Matt (mattrilla) after work on Tuesday. We caught  a show on Broadway, "Chicago" and had dinner afterwards in a pub near Matt's hotel, The Hudson Hotel. It was Jeff's and Matt's first Broadway show.  I'm pretty sure they enjoyed it, (with all the skimpily-clad women on stage, oh yea they enjoyed it).  

As I wrote before I knew I would be coming back to New York, sooner or later. It turned out to be sooner though. I was supposed to be coming back to Poland on the 30th of September. But then I received a message from my school that I haven't passed all of my exams. One of them, of which I was sure I have passed, I indeed have failed. In that case I had to change my schedule and come back to Poland on the 4th or 5th of September at the latest. Which meant I didn't get as much time as I h…

New york...new york..as the song uh? haha...i was there for two months..so i had plenty of time to see the sights..be there for christmas enviroment which is LOVELY and for NEW YEARS!!!
