This was my first trip on my lonesome - The Big Apple! It was great experience. I went for 7 days and stayed in a Hotel (formerly a Motel) called the Skyline Hotel, which was a 10-minute walk from Times Square - not bad! When I first arrived and got in my transport to take me to my Hotel the first t…

They say New YOrk is a "CONCRETE JUNGLE", if you make it there you can make it anywhere. Well, for starters my feet did survived all the walking we did. The weather is a bit chilly but we kept on going. The train system is kinda confusing but thanks to my NY guide,a classmate way back then,it was smooth. sO until my next stop in the Big Apple...didnt see no apple really!, am back to reality here in London.

First impression of New York: I love it! I'm a sucker for downtowns, bustling streets and the nonstop entertainment of people watching. My second impression of New York would be the guy I saw on my first night as we left the restaurant, who ran from tree to tree with his pants around his ankles. Ye…

These are some pics from my two trips to NYC in 2008. The second trip was technically a trip to New Jersey, but who are we kidding, I spent 90% of my time in the Big Apple.

NYC-subway was my dream! And it still is! Unfortunately... I was reading so much about that system, i know it from the pics and drom the stories of my friends, and when i came to NYC - i haven't got a chance to ride it! There was no time. I rode only the Sky Train at the JFK airport between termina…
