Public Library Sep 11, 2013
New York Public Library is a huge and marvelous place to find anything and everything that you can usually find on internet and read newest magazines and newspapers in beautiful setting. Place is simply overrun by tourist that come there in hoards and take large tours that you can’t avoid. I love the preservation of the old telephone boots and great ceilings in the reading rooms. Most of the places in the library you can enter and search or research documentation or books by the topic. I loved the map room and I spent some time looking at the interesting interpretations surrounding the old maps. Bottom floor features awesome introduction to the books for kids. I wanted to stay more, but I found that due to the technology I don’t have that much patience for paper research. Maybe if I was looking for something very specific and maybe history related… It is worth seeing it, and remember to keep quiet :)
