Save Money and Still Have a Great Time Nov 18, 2008
New years in Las Vegas can be expensive or very expensive. The difference is perception! It is easy to think you need to pay huge prices for "the clubs" parties, but where ever you end up, you will have the opportunity to have fun.

The Strip is closed to traffic around lunch and it becomes one big block party. It is not only legal, but quite the standard to walk with drinks. As more alcohol is consumed, the more social everyone gets. Plus where ever you stand, you will have a nice view of the fireworks.

The club's parties are expensive, the bars are crowded and it takes forever to get your very expensive drinks. Even if you pay for V.I.P. access, you will be just changing the perception that you have money to waste! Bottle service on a typical weekend in Vegas can add up to be over $1,000 to several thousand easily, so on New Years, it is even worse!

The end result is the next day you are hungover with usually great memories (if you can remember) and have had a good time either way. Just with the clubs you have less money afterward.

If you still like the club route, may I suggest that you give me a couple thousand dollars, I will get you very drunk and we will make up stories about the celebrities we saw, partied and danced with. When you get home, I will even be your "Proof" of your good time with a bunch of blurry photos of a bunch of drunks all having a great time!! LOL

In the end, just have fun and be safe!! Remember, it is VEGAS BABY, you will have a good time if you spend $100 or less or THOUSANDS of dollars.
