New Year's In Paris
New Year's In Paris Reviews

The French really know how to celebrate New Year's, whether it's clubbing in Paris or the sublime midnight grape-picking event in the Midi Pyrenees or an upscale, medieval celebration in a Loire castle. Find out how to plan a New Year's Eve visit to France, and which events and festivals are planned for the turn of the new year.
Paris, like much of Europe, is more expensive than visiting new cities in the U.S. For new travelers who haven't been there, I would recommend talking with someone who has, in detail, about the costs that you will experience in everything from riding the subway/buses to hotels to meals (especially meals). Other than that, Paris is a wonderful city. I believe I could return there a thousand times and see or experience something new every time, never seeing the same thing twice. I would recommend going on a bus tour around Paris at night - it is really beatiful. Then if you have enough cash left in your bank, try going on a cruise along Seine - because the Paris experience is not full without a CRUISE - it is seriously wonderful and really romantic. |

I though this was interesting as the direct translation is
simply Good Year rather than Happy New Year. Eh when in Paris , do as the Parisians do! We
walked around with Mark for an hour getting his quick walking tour of
the city. We bought a cheap bottle of champagne for 10 Euro as people
had set up tables… Food, Sleep and then Party! |
