So the new year's rose parade is world famous, and it's really great, but what no one talks about is the night before new year's. If you're in town for the rose parade, don't spend your money buying a seat on Colorado Blvd. Instead, get to Colorado Blvd. around 5 or 6 PM and spend the night there. You'll see all the floats, and there's just something special about spending the night and throwing various objects at cars going by (don't worry, it's a "tradition").

No, you really throw things...but I mean, nothing that damages a car, just plates of cream, marshmallows, silly string, things like that...

Are you really supposed to throw stuff at cars? I can't tell if you're joking or not :)
