New Ocean's Hotel Blackpool

Me and my girlfriend booked into this dirty hotel last week for two days and it was two days too long. We were told it was £15 each for the thursday and £18 each for the friday yet i was billed for £76 which was £10 to much,The room was small and the wall by the bed had a hole in the wall,The light over the bed was covered in paint,the tv had poor reception. The walls were so damp the paint was falling around us ,The toilet seat has a big chip out of it and was unstable. The sink was cracked and dirty,The bed was rock hard and had dirty sheets,The hole room was from the 60s with old grubby dirty carpet,The fire alarm did work because it went off on thursday at one in the morning,I had to go down to be told not it worry it was someone cooking in the kitchen and had burned the food. I would NEVER stay at this dump again but if you want the same just book in to room 26 and see for yourself.Oh and see if you can make the on wall heater work,It never did for us.......

I stayed in this hotel on several occasions. I have seen a vast change in the renovation and the new rooms are amazing 5* These guys that own the hotel have worked very hard and continue to do so to make this into a first class hotel. They are still renovating but this had no effect on our stay . The staff are very warm friendly and good hearted, they will bend over backwards to help. The Location is second to none . Our room was room 25 not yet renovated but very clean and comfortable. The bedding was very clean, we had tv , tea and coffe making facilities and clean towels whenever we required them. The food was excellent throught our stay with a very friendly Chef and his staff. The reception staff were great especially paul he was so helpfull. We will be coming again this year,. Thanks to all the staff and owners of this Hotel.
