I took two tours with this company while I was in Munich: one to Dachau that was extremely inexpensive, and the other a FREE guided tour of the city. Both were experiences I'll never forget. The guides are extremely knowledgable, and possibly even more engaging and entertaining. I learned so much on the tours, met a bunch of interesting like-minded travelers, and had a great time. Ozzie and Jamie were the BEST guides I've ever had on these type of tours!

Ozzie is no longer working with New Munich Tours. You have to find him at Wombat's City Hostel. The tours leaves from the lobby daily at 11am. He still works on a for tips basis. I agree with Alison, he knows his stuff and is funny too.

We dropped off our things and headed to the meeting point at Marianplatz for the free walking tour with New Sandeman. The tour started with the Glockenspiel loacted on the New Parliment building. It was cool watching and listening to the Glockenspiel chime. There are two scenes to the clock, the top is a jousting match and the bottom… Munich

The Free Tour that I mentioned above was fabulous. New Munich Tours (www.newmunich.com). Seriously, I can't recommend them enough if you're ever in Munich. They run the Free Tour on a tips-only basis, and our tour guide - this absolutley insane Canadian guy, Ozzie - was so beyond… Munich
