What to do on a hot summer day in New Jersey, drive east and hit the Atlantic. T-minus 3 hours and I'm headed off to the airport to get on a plane for London.  I can't believe I'm really doing it.  I've see-sawed between between super excited and super anxious throughout the planning of this trip.  Although in the past 48 hours I've been leaning to the anxious.  I mean, really, what business do I have thinking that I can backpack Europe ALONE?!  But, alas, it's too late to change my mind now.  So... Yeah, well, we knew the flight was going to a be kind of a pain in the ass and so nothing that has happened the past couple of days was of particular surprise or above and beyond the usual US and distance travel crap. I decided to take a cross country road trip to gatlinburg tenn. on the way I stopped at friends places and expanded my road trip after the original cabin trip in gatlinburg, I head east to North Carolina to the outer banks, up north to MD to N.Y. withsights in between. after I left New York, I went thru PA to Ohio and spent a week there and had Tday with some friends.
