Cruised from Sydney to New Caledonia and the New Hebrides aboard Rhapsody of the Seas.Great 10 days visiting islands that have not become too touristy yet.Very good places for snorkelling especially Isle of Pines and Vila (Hideaway Island). Ship excursions very expensive, but easy to arrange your own trips. Locals very friendly. Recommend visit to local village at Luganville (by taxi), war museum and cultural centre at Noumea. Isle of Pines still very unspoiled. Ship excellent.

Noumea was a great experience but overall unless you have the money to spend it can be quite expenssive. A bag of potatoe chips at the local supermarket goes for nearly 10 U. Thailand is my number one favorite countrie. I lived there for 6 month with my boyfriend and we stayd in 5 different places. Altogehter I been in thaialnd three times. My favorite place in thailand is the island Koh Tao. finest diving in whole Thialand. we also lived in Koh Samui and Koh Lanta. Thailand is the perfect country for beginner wiht a very touristy atmosphere
