71 & 72 Floor, Swissôtel The Stamford. Great View of the city in a martini bar atmosphere. Not the cheapest place in town as drinks run $10-$12US, but well worth the view.

 Singapore on High: New Asia Bar May 23, 2005
Located at the 71st and 72nd floor of Singapore's tallest building - the Swissôtel Stamford, New Asia Bar offers guests a spectacular 360° view of Singapore. Level 71 is open to the public, while it's by-invitation only on the 72nd.
During the day, one can enjoy good food while listening to music and chatting with friends, while after sunset it's the perfect place to throw down and dance the night away. Also it's 50% off on drinks between 3:00 to 9:00 pm everyday, and 12:00 MN to 1:00 AM on Fridays and Saturdays. It's a bit expensive though, but if you've got an expat friend in town that wouldn't be a problem at all. hehe!
