It was my first time in Vegas and I was amazed at the size of buildings along the strip. I enjoyed walking through all the hotels to take in each theme they had to offer...well worth seeing.

The day began just as any other day in Vegas: hung-over, tired, red-eyed, and hungry for more. Or maybe just hungry. Our first stop was the Wynn hotel for their champagne brunch buffet. We passed up the long line of people to go to a private room, which was absolutely worth the splurge for a specia…

After spending a few days in Las Vegas, there are a few themes that stood out:People in Vegas will take a picture of anything. The more people who are taking a picture, the more who will take a picture.Only 20% of people in Vegas actually have a destination. The other 80% exist to get in their way.I…

Starting point of my trip through Bryce Canyon, Zion National Park, Grand Canyon and Monument Valley is Las Vegas. If you stay longer than 3 days in Vegas you get crazy from all the lights and "gambling noise" ...
Highlights are easy to find you just need to go in hotels/casinos, many of them are connected my train and enjoy architecture and all the entertainment possibilities :-)

My little brother turned 21 this past June, and my parents took us and a couple friends to Vegas to celebrate. The trip got off to a slightly rocky start when our plane was late, and then my friend got sick in the middle of the LV airport. And our ride to our hotel took forever to pick us up. After…

Halloween in Vegas is standing in line for hours only to pay a day's wages for entry into a club whose only draw is the costumed attendees...and the price of a good drink makes one consider selling a kidney in tijuana.
Perhaps as I get older, reveling in the vegas club scene does not have the…

So, this is a bit past due to post these pictures but when I look at
them I still can't believe it snowed here in Vegas, much less how
much! I was born and raised here and we have had some small flakes
fall but nothing that stuck to the ground for more than a half hour.
It sounds fu…

Neither one of us are gamblers. Mostly because we can't afford to lose any money. I spent a total of $5 gambling this entire weekend. What was really awsome about this weekend is that Sarah's mom and step-dad paid for most things. The room, the KA tickets, and gambling. Everytime Sarah and I sat in…

Rental car (2008 Chevy Cobalt w/sunroof) procured we found our way to US 95/93, and headed south. The hour and a half drive consists of the same scenery repeated many times over. I swear I saw the saw stand of Joshua Trees about a dozen times. It was like Ground Hog Day. Bu…
