Perak, Darul Ridzuan - land of Grace, lies between Penang and Kedah in the north and Selangor to the south.
Ipoh is the state capital, surrounded by rugged limestone outcrops and heritage buildings, is as famous as Penang for its gastronomical delights and its speciality is 'white coffee' in an old-style kopitiam.
Pangkor island offers visitors insight to fishing villages, savour seafood delicacies or simply enjoying the sun, sea and sand at the numerous beaches along its beautiful coastline. The exclusive Pangkor Laut resort, situated in a nearby island, is noted for its world-renowned resort.

The truth is, I was a bit hesitant at first, as Arnaud jumped at the chance of living another unique and authentic experience. You see, it was really by chance that we found ourselves in this small Malaysian village, with rur...

Pangkor Island, the paradise island, is one of the famous and well known islands in Malaysia. It is located approxiamely 90 km southwest of Ipoh. Pangkor Island is an idyllic and beautiful island resort for a carefree and relaxing holiday. Its natural scenery of green hills and palm-friged beaches of fine white sand lapped by the warm blue waters of the Straits of Malacca is truly magnificent.
