Of all the wineries I went to in South Africa, Neethlingshof was my favorite. They had beautifully flavored wines and a nice tasting room to try them in. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable about their wines and the region. My favorite wine was their Guwerztraminer...but really, everything I tried was good. They have many types of wine including cabernet sauvingnon, pinotage, chardonnay, and riesling. I think it was around $10 USD and you got to keep your tasting glass which has a special Neethlingshof etching in the glass. You can also purchase wines there and it might be the only place you will find them.
