Some of you may have heard of the Hezbollah crisis: I was there in the midst! Many people hear about the turmoil in Israel, however, most people rarely hear of the hospitality of the people or of their amazing generosity. I experienced the Hezbollah crisis as well as the turmoil between the Arabs and the Jews as I traveled through uncharted territory and heard the story from the people who live it out on a daily basis. It is something that will forever be etched upon my mind.

After we made our way back from Megiddo to the bus stop, we decided to head north to Nazareth. Another biblical town and an important one to Jesus, we thought it was worth a look. Well, we took the bus, and got off too early. We ended up quite a distance from the sites we were loo…

Not sure how much longer I can keep up with writing this blog and editing photos each night. After such long days touring, I am sooo tired so you'll probably see less and less as the days go on.
Today, we visited the biblical city of Nazareth where the virgin Mary was told by an angel that …

Jerusalem, Israel -› Ein Gedi, Israel -› …
The journey to Israel appealed to me for reason far less pious than I, sometimes, am willing to concede. Most simply: I went to reunite with a dear friend who had, by equal parts choice and chance, settled there. After eight years apart from her, I took the plunge.
