Natural Guesthouse Brasov

This pensiune was a lovely find. The owner is continually working on making this hotel a beautiful and affordable place to stay. While we were there he was laying floor tile himself with a friend in the new breakfast room. (Currently you eat at an assigned time with another couple, which was odd.) The whole building has been restored by the owner's two hands. His investment of hard work and heart really make the place special. The bathrooms were among the best I'd seen in this price range. I had been warned about Romanian bathrooms, but luckily did not experience any horrors. You are right in the middle of town but on a quiet street. My only complaint is about the air-conditioning. It was a glorifed fan that had a space to add ice packs. It worked out since Transylvanian nights were chilly. But in the heat of the day it did little to cool the room. Still that is a minor complaint. I would recommend this place to anyone who visits lovely Brasov.
