A crazy and interesting university! Nov 03, 2009
This is Bogotá's big public university. We visited it on a bike tour with Bogotá Bike Tours. The university is interesting because it's very political - definitely leftist. There's lots of anti-U.S. graffiti, but the atmosphere was still very friendly. The university's walls appear to have been created as canvases for all of the fiery graffiti. The campus is also very big and pleasant, with football fields and vegetable gardens. Don't miss the Che Guevara portrait!
