Chilean National Museum of Natural History Dec 01, 2013
Chilean National Museum of Natural History is located in the Quinta Normal Park just a bit outside of central Santiago area (easy to reach with metro). It hosts many exhibitions of plants, animals and minerals that can be found in Chile. There are two floors to roam around. For me interesting were anthropology sections that cover some of the larger tribes in Chile and also some samples of rongorongo tablets from Easter Island. There are also some explanations about life in Inca Empire that occupied valleys of Chile. Museum was very empty and kind of slow in every sense. Surrounding area is a park with lots of things for kids to play with. Museum could be seen with the quick visit.
