National Historical Museum is attached to Parque Lezama, which is kind of end of your walk of the famous san Telmo market. This place hosts items of the important people that were running or burning Argentina, some historical information and few extremely large monumental paintings. The most important thing seems to be collection of the swords which are nicely displayed in the side wing. There is a military guard protecting one sword in the end of the corridor. Donno why, but it seems to be way too many security personnel for such a small museum. I counted at least 15 security for maybe 10 rooms, and sometimes they follow you around like it is Inca gold room and you can potentially be interested in taking it. Place is alright to see, but you dont need to put it in your plans.
