National Archaeological Museum
National Archaeological Museum Reviews

The National Archaeological Museum is the home of some famous items, such as the Mask of Agamemnon, statue of Poseidon, and Jockey of Artemision. My personal favorite was the room of Santorini frescoes. The museum is quite expansive but luckily we had our trusty Michelin Guide to point us in the right direction. There are many offering guided tours which are said to last 1 hour. We passed on this as we wanted to take our time, but if your time is limited, this seems like a good option because it is easy to get lost inside or miss something, as there is a lot to see. Great collection.

Both perfect: the museum opens until 19:30 and there is a separate space for the bags. We already knew the opening hours, because we’ve sent an e-mail and received a reply, but you never know in Greece.
