National Aquarium in Baltimore
National Aquarium in Baltimore Reviews
A day with the fish Apr 28, 2009
I have been to the Baltimore aquarium on several occasions and will always keep coming back. There are tons of different exhibits (fish, reptiles, amphibians, birds, to name a few) and there is a dolphin show which I still have yet to see. To be completely honest, I am not sure if there is ever a time where it isn't too crowded, but I would imagine that going during the week might be a little less busy. Everytime I have gone, I have noticed that everyone is pretty good about moving along in a timely manner so others can take a peek at the exhibits. Don't forget to bring your camera!!

A day in Baltimore Jun 15, 2005
The Baltimore Aquarium is a really nice place to go when visiting the city. I know a lot of larger cities have their own aquariums but this one was very nice inside and out. There is a lot to do here and just looking around could take a few hours. They have amazing exhibits and a beautiful bird atrium with so many varieties of birds just flying around everywhere. They have a dolphin arena and you can watch the dolphins playing or watch one of the dolphin shows the time I went one of the dolphins had just given birth so all the dolphin shows were canceled. Instead we just sat in the stadium for awhile watching the trainers playing with the dolphins making them jump through hoops and feeding them fish. It’s a fun time and the layout is nice there are so many different animals make sure to bring your camera!

The National Aquarium is an attraction that shouldn’t be missed. Fogo de Chao, a Brazilian Steakhouse, is across the street. You can read my review of it, but it’s awesome if you’re looking for a special dining spot. I tried… National Aquarium and Edgar Allen Poe |

We had plans to visit to the
National Aquarium, which is on the Inner Harbor. The train ride was nice, just a commuter train, which wasn't very
crowded. The conductor took quite a shine to DJ and sat with us for
most of the trip, pointing out things and sharing history… Baltimore Inner Harbor |

I gave Trinity the choice of the Maryland Science Center or the National Aquarium, and she chose the museum (although she did add that we can go to the Aquarium tomorrow/next time). This was a great choice since the museum is a member of the ATSC (Association of Science-Technology Centers), which allows members of any of it's museums… Baltimore |
