Slept in and then headed back to downtown Nashville.  Stopped in the Country Music Hall of Fame and took a drive through a neighborhood where all the houses had been converted into mini music studios... kinda cool.  Headed back on the road to Memphis!

I have nothing against the city of Nashville, however, I find their rush hour traffic and highway interchange systems to be brutal.  Everytime we drive through there, it always end up being rush hour, so there is a ton of traffic.  The other problem is the highway interchange system. …

It was a great experience to travel across country. It only took a week but I wish we had more time to stop more places. California, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Tennesee, Virginia, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts. We stayed in Super 8 all the way through and only the one in Texas was funky. I don't recommend Amarillo, TX except to briefly see the Cadillac Ranch. Overall it was a great trip!
