Nashua Vacation Guide
Nashua is a City of about 86,000 people. Located in Hillsborough County NH is the second largest city in the state with Manchester being the first. The city was once voted best place to live in the US. It started out as a mill city much like its nieghbor to the south Lowell MA. The Nashua river provied the power to run the city's textile mills during the Industrial Revolution.
After World War I, the city's mill's began to fizzle out. Eventually more high tech company's would move in and give the local ecnomy a much needed boost.
Nashua is now home to Shopping Malls, Resteraunts, Hotels, Movie Theaters, and Defense Firms like BAE Systems. Since New Hampshire has no sales tax Nashua is a popluar shopping destination for its Massachusetts nieghbors.
