Brief description of my travels in 2009

In September 2007 i realised one of my dreams. I visited Japan. It was more then I expected and a lot more, than I dared to hope it would be. Going from Tokyo to Hakone, later to Miyajima and then Kyoto with our last stop after 3 weeks in Osaka. It was really a dream coming true. Even with a typhoon hitting us and temperatures worth for a desert in summer.

This was a family vacation that needed SO much planning. We did a lot of financial planning and I tell you, it's not easy since Japan is an expensive country to even rent a place. The blog includes lots of people photos. The hotel, the train and other spots of attraction that we went to.

Daar er niet van die ontzettende gezellige feestjes zijn zoals in Bloemendaal en Den haag, moet je in Narita roeien met de riemen die je hebt. Die riemen ben ik al halverwege de avond kwijt geraakt en de boot was aan het einde niet meer zeewaardig, met andere woorden: Ik was behoorlijk naar de klot…
