I started in Auckland, drove to Rotorua, Napier, Wanganui, and back to Auckland. It was a quick overview of the North Island of New Zealand.

In November 2006 I travelled to the southern hemisphere to live and work in New Zealand and Australia for twelve months. I was in Australia for about two months, and for the rest of the year I lived in New Zealand. I had the opportunity to travel back across the tasman sea three times for short breaks when I was able to get time off work. It was a really good experience to live on the other side of the world for one year.
