We got up early, got packed, and headed up to the Main House for our last breakfast at the B&B. OMG, all the food was so yummy. Sadly, I forgot my camera both days so I don't have pics of the food but we had fresh mixed fruit, hard boiled eggs, bacon, and this bread pudding for brea…

Sad day. We had to check out from the Beasley House B&B this morning.
Along the same lines as yesterday, we got to breakfast around 9...but were a little more rushed today as our tasting was at 10 and not 10:30. Breakfast was again very good, and we managed to convince Veronica to …

Today Jesse and I actually took it easy and got to sleep in a little! Haha, last night when we laid down we both said we wished we were in the Sea Ranch Lodge's beds! (They were sooo comfy!)
The Elm House Inn offers complimentary continental breakfast, and it was delicious! They …

Napa Valley is only a short drive away from San Francisco and is a good day trip if you are in the area. Despite living in Berkeley for 5 years now, this was the first time I have visited Napa. Most of the wineries in Napa are along Highway 29, a bumpy 2-lane highway that runs through the heart of …

Although happy to spend as much time as I could in San Francisco, I was equally pleased to venture north into the Napa region of California to embark on some serious and protracted wine tasting. And I really wasn't disappointed with how it all panned out! The cottage my friend and I stayed at was s…

I thought I owe it to myself to do a blog of where I live since I live in my beautiful city by the bay, San Francisco, and all the wonderful places that are close by. My boyfriend was in town visiting me over the holidays, so I did my best playing tour guide. I tend to take it for granted that I live in such a great place. Hopefully, these pictures will always be a reminder of just how lucky I am to live here.

Healdsburg and Winsor are located in Northern California. Healdsburg is surrounded by fine wineries including Russian River Valley, Alexander Valley, Dry Creek Valley, etc Healdsburg is the spot to discover and taste the best of Sonoma County wine.
Healdsburg offers fine dining, art galleries, bed and breakfast, bookstores and shopping. The town and wineries are perfect if you are looking to get away from the more commercialized Napa Valley wineries.

Some of the greatest wines in the world are grown in Napa Valley. We spent 2 days travelling up and down the valley stopping at wineries along the way. Much more busy and commercial than Sonoma. Again, some of our favorites:
Sterling Vineyards – You take a gondola to the top of the small mountai…
