Nanfang-ao Vacation Guide

As one of Taiwan’s finest natural fishing harbor, the Nanfang-ao Fishing harbor is a haven for seafood lovers. Numerous restaurants offer the freshest seafood Taiwan has to offer. In 1956, local residents built a temple to Matzu, considered by Taoists to be the protector of the sea, and in 1990, a giant statue of Matzu was erected. Many people from all over Taiwan come to the temple to pray.
