In an attempted to see what a real bure may have been like, we traveled to the Coral Coast of Fiji to stay at a small place called Namuka Bay Lagoon.  Although the bures had running water and electricity for a few hours in the evening, the building were constructed as originally built and gave a great feeling for what it may have been like.
