In early 2007, my wife and I are travelling around the world over a six month period.

Day 1 - I watched a couple movies on Virgin, first I watched Shrek 3, then blades of glory which was not so good. I watched blades like maybe only a fourth way through. Oh and at the airport, Mo, Bobby, Sam, the Chang family, and Peter sent us off from SFO.

This is the longest bus ride i have ever experienced...it totally took me 28 hrs to get to Kampala....6 hrs delayed....

Trip through southern Kenya and northern Tanzania, one month

I had a 5 hour layover...so after some serious drama at customs I got a transit visa and went wandering around the airport.  I didn't dare venture out further because Kenya was not my true destination I didn't read up much...and I know there has been some violence lately.

In a perfect world with no flight cancellations or delays, and where someone could hop from plane to plane within 15 minutes, how many countries can a person visit in the shortest possible time? Here's one possibility using July 2006 timetables.
