The sister museum of the MFA Apr 18, 2013
My friend and I went to Nagoya/Boston Museum of Fine Arts to see American Landscape From Niagara to Yosemite. We appreciated paintings of Thomas Cole, George Inness, Childe Hassam and other great painters. This museum opened in 1999. They have been cooperate with the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. Borrowing all works of art, many good art exhibition have been held so far. This museum is not big, but it is wonderful experience that we can see excellent works of US in Nagoya. The period of the contract is 20 years. I hope this museum will continue to exist in the future.

It would be very interesting to contrast American and Japanese landscape paintings of this period.
