Na Trang Travel and Tourism Guide

Na Trang is a small town with big potential. Already it has begun to host tourists from all over the world as both a beach resort location and a cruise ship dock. Its popularity started after the war when the French and Americans identified it as a rest & relaxation spot for soliders.

Now tourists can enjoy shopping at one of several markets including the Dam market which hosts fresh food, drink, bars, clothing, purses, and more. Relaxing on the beach outside of the monsoon season is always enjoyable as is snorkling, scuba diving, or sight seeing by boat.

Na Trang is about 8 hours from Ho Chi Minh city and 10 hours from Hoi An by bus, however many other options are available. As a cruise port many ships drop passengers for a day here. Not as what everybody think about tropical countries, Nha Trang can be cold in the winter (around 10 deg Celcius in February)

Sights include the National Oceanographic Museum of Vietnam and the Po Ngar Cham Towers where local buddists worship.
