After graduating this Spring (May 2008) I plan to work for a few months, and set off around the world, working as I go along. Looking for somebody to explore with me!

My Uncle landed on the beaches of Normandy on June 6, 1944 with the 4th ID. He was fortunate to make it home alive.

Weekend trip away to see D day beaches and a little more of Europe

Interests: Skiing, SCUBA diving and photography.

Although the history related to WWII is moving on it's own, I don't have an interest because of that. I saw photographs of the region and fell in love with the idea of visiting.

The battle of Normandy. June 6, 1944,(commonly known as D-Day) the largest seaborne invasion in history, having involved almost three million troops crossing the English Channel from England to Normandy.

someday soon i want to visit with a friend again :) maybe there or another place....
