Young Fun Jul 18, 2008

If you are a young person, I would recommend spending your nightlife along Zulpicherstrasse, which is a whole street near the University full of young people. When there is a party going on around town, this is where it is at!
If you are an older person, looking for a more touristy experience, I would recommend staying around the river, and the Dom. The places there are more cultural, and relaxed.
Cologne has options for all!

Hi !
I can give you some good adresses for Cologne ! :)

1. Brauerei "Päffgen" near the "Dom" ! Lovely Restaurant with good beer and food.

2. "Wiener Steffi". Disco with funny people and cheap drinks.

3. "Medienpark". To chill out and have some action.

That could be enough for one evening ... ;)

Going to Germany this Sept.I will definitely check out the University street in cologne.I like nightlife,I go to diffirent cities to experience there nightlife and see there architectural buildings.In not into museum.Thanks for that info dudes...

Atleast I wasn't in the washroom when the police came pounding on the door...Melissa hehe. So for me it was a good over night train experience but for Melissa not so much. Cologne City Rating: 2/2 Hostel 1/2 People 0.5/2 Nightlife 1/2 Sites 1/2 Weather +1 bonus for awesome shower Total=6.5/10 … Killing time in Cologne and our first over-night train!

it was 2 police officers asking for my passport. Fun. And that whole ride I maybe got one hour of sleep.
