NH Constanza Barcelona Reviews
A modern comtempory hotel on Diagonal Sep 21, 2008
This hotel is a very new cool, modern chain hotel on the Diagonal, in behind I'llla Shopping Centre. This is a large new development with the naked concrete look popular in that part of Barcelona. The location is maybe not ideal for first time visitors to the city as it is maybe a 15-20 min bus ride to Plaza Catalunya. The area is close to lots of shops and restaurants though, and the hotel is a great price given how modern and edgy it is.
The lobby is a bit like a modern office building reception, I think it is a popular convention hotel as it has a business feel to it. The rooms are decent sized and modern and new. The bathrooms are cool.
Th breakfast was the most amazing thing about this hotel though. The selection and quality were outstanding. You could order lots of yummy things and the pastry selection and buffet was huge. Allow extra time for this if you love breakfasts like me!
The service was professional and friendly. We didn't use the other hotel amenities or concierge so I cannot comment on these. Overall a ood value hotel, I think we paid about 70euros per night on a festival weekend.
