...Travbuddy! I dedicate this blog to the website and to all of my marvelous Travbuddies. You have enriched my life in countless ways and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for that. I joined Travbuddy about 3 years ago after a memorable trip to Argentina. A friend introduced me to the website and suggested that I begin to document my travels on here, in order for my friends and family to follow them more easily. Little did I know that this community would become my friends and some of y...

The weather was great,it rained 1 time, during the middle of one night,It was sunny and warm from morning to sunset, the beach wasn't as busy this year as past years. It was nice to sit on the beach and watch the waves roll in. I love to people watch and see families on vacation, there is nothing better than to see kids having fun, running around and playing in the sand and water, I spent alot of money shopping and eating out, myrtle beach has great resturaunts and shopping centers.

The resort seminar and our Hard Rock Park adventure!

15 July 2008   Lena and I were up and out of the house by 8:00 am to get to our appointment. We checked in and were introduced to a nice young man (Brian Ryan) that would be our guide (and salesman) during the seminar. After watching a video on their properties, and how buying into the resort works, we were taken on a tour of two of the local properties. One was a very nice single family home with four bedrooms, large kitchen/dining room and living room. The next property they showed u...

The Adventure to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina: Myrtle Beach Travel Photos

Monday morning my dad cooked breakfast. He is amazing at cooking anything, but especially pizza and breakfast. I'm not usually one for breakfast food. But my father makes me want to eat breakfast. I ran around for him to take orders on how people wanted their eggs and helped out where I could. The food was amazing, as normal; I was so not disappointed. After everything was cleaned up and put away we headed for the beach once again. More sunbathing for me and a little swimming. The...

Went with a few family memebers to Myrtle Beach. We stayed at the Myrtle Beach Resort that is in South MB. We did not leave the resort much, only to eat out once and buy food to cook. The resort had what we needed, relaxation and the ocean and pools. While there we also did parasailing.

I'm spending 4 months exploring the US and what I want to do with my life for the next 5 years - a combination of road trips through the most scenic areas, camping, and staying in 2 of my favorite cities (Chicago and San Francisco). I'm packing my trusty Mazda Tribute with a box of books, a tent, a GPS system, and lots of music and heading out in June.

Trouble with traffic on The I95 greeted us that morning, so we had to improvise a new route down to Myrtle Beach. We took the I40 towards Wilmington and with 30 minute was glad we had. We had a post lunch meeting but as we began to circle Wilmington the meeting was far from our minds. Passing over the Cape Fear River and past the USS North Carolina we turned onto the coast road and towards Myrtle Beach, the weather was idyllic and the road rolled on beneath us. We stopped in Myrtle Beach for ...

It's not as good as a TravBuddy Meetup but one of my good friends from Charleston drove up to see me.  Glenn hung out in my hotel room all day while I met with the client.  He checked out a few local bars, got in a nap...the dang Marriott was a day spa for my old roommate! When I got free Glenn and I went to the ballpark next door to check out the Pelicans.  Unfortunately the game was just ending so we drove around.  We couldn't find much to do on a Monday but ended up at...
