MyThai
MyThai Reviews
Jan 01, 2008
Another great spot just North of the Washington Monument (the original, not to be confused with the one in DC). The owner is married to a Thai woman and both travel back to Thailand on a regular basis. In a city without a whole lot of authentic Asian offerings (and no Chinatown), My Thai is quite good. There are the pad thai, drunken chicken, and other Thai menu staples, but there are a couple of really nice surprises like a braised eggplant entree and a papaya salad that's fantastic. I've never tried the sushi, and there's enough on the Thai menu that I doubt I will (not with the Kawasaki Cafe so close by).
Prices are in the teens, and the servings are substantive. The spiciness is tempered for a western palate, so if you really want spicy you have to ask for it. Part of the Baltimore travel blog |
