Tacky magnets - best souvenirs ever Aug 29, 2012
I'm late to the party, but I know that several people on TB (Roger, Vance, etc) have a tips review of their tacky magnets, so here's mine.

I've started collecting my magnets on my trip to Puerto Rico in 2004. Since then I've picked one up from every country visited and sometimes neat sights that I've been to, or because they were just too darn cute/pretty. Don't judge!

Only a few were gifts. Prices ranged from 1 Euro (in Paris) to the most expensive 12 British pounds for the music playing bag pipes from Scotland.

Magnets are the best souvenir - in my humble opinion - because they don't take up much space. They collect dust but not too much. The best part: I see them every time I open my refrigerator which - let's face it - happens a couple of times a day. It's the gift that keeps on giving - travel fever mostly.
