Best Movie Theater in Chicago Sep 30, 2009

Music Box Movie Theatre is one of the best movie houses in Chicago to watch a flick. The theater has not changed one bit since it was built in the early 1920s.

Once inside the theater, you will easily feel as if you were transported back in time. The chairs, the paintings, the organ, and beautiful architecture is truly unique.

Music Box shows an assortment of movies; including:forgien, independent, and recent modern films. If you are visiting Chicago and want to spend an evening people watching, hanging out at coffee shops and checking out restaurants, Music Box theater is in the perfect spot. I like to start out at about 6pm, have coffee at one of many cafes in the area, have dinner, and then head over to watch a film. The theater also has fun midnight shows.
