Museum ship Pommern Mariehamn Reviews
Great museum ship May 31, 2004
The Pommern (german for Pomerania) can either be visited alone or with a combined ticket for the Maritime Museum as well. I recommend the latter.
The ship was built in Glasgow in 1903 and was in service until the outbreak of the second well war. it is the best preserved in the world of any 4-master sailing ships. It used to be on the corn run between England and Australia.
All information is provided in English, German and Swedish and you can wander freely all over the top deck and the lower decks.
