Museum of Glass Reviews

The Museum of Glass in Tacoma is centred around world-famous glass artist Dale Chihuly. The complex consists of a bridge from the University of Washington full of glass sculptures (free to visit), the museum gallery with glass work by numerous international artists ($10 adults), and the glass blowing studio. The studio is very interesting, you can watch the glass-work interns as they make up their pieces, or pieces of major sculptures by Dale Chihuly, using a minimum of safety equipment and a vast quantity of molten glass. The experience is interesting to anyone, and a delight to those who are interested in glass work.
