Beatiful Canal House Apr 11, 2012
I highly recommend this beautiful canal house in Amsterdam. This house is huge (3 storey high) and elegant in furniture, decor, paintings and collector items on display from the 17th century. On each floor has a grandfather clock and a huge garden in the backyard. It's located in Rembrandtplein/Herengracht tram stop.

This house previously owned by a very rich Dutch family called Wilet-Holthuysen. As the couple doesn't have any children, the wife donated the house to the Dutch government in condition to be open to public when she died.

It cost 8euro including the audio recording.
